Supporting Children with Cerebral Palsy at Home During March Awareness Month
Understanding Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month
March is National Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month, a time to recognize the more than 1 million Americans living with cerebral palsy and highlight the importance of support and inclusion for children and families affected by CP.
At Flowers Home Care, we specialize in providing compassionate, skilled care to children with cerebral palsy and other complex medical needs in the comfort of their homes. Through Georgia’s Medicaid-funded GAPP (Georgia Pediatric Program), our trained nurses and caregivers assist families with daily medical care, monitoring, and support so children can thrive in a familiar environment.

Caring for a child with cerebral palsy often requires ongoing medical attention, patience, and support for families. Our team partners closely with families and healthcare providers to ensure children receive the consistent, high-quality care they need outside of the hospital.
During this awareness month, we invite pediatric offices and families to connect with us. If you have patients who may benefit from in-home pediatric nursing or GAPP services, we welcome your referrals. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with cerebral palsy and support families every step of the way.
